This smoothie is a quick & healthy breakfast treat, the perfect solution for busy mornings.
Choco-Nut Smoothie
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- Sugar substitute to taste if you wish
- 2 cups ice cubes
Place all ingredients into a blender or Ninja and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
*You could place ingredients into the blender cup the night before (except ice). Store in fridge over night. In the morning just add ice and place on blender. Smooth. Done!
Looks delicious! I use Almond Milk in my shakes. Not a fan of milk.

Thank you for your comment Bernice. I use almond milk too, as much as I can. Almond milk as well as this coconut milk works great in this smoothie. The more I learned about dairy, the less I used it. We are now pretty much dairy free.
