Monday morning
It’s pouring rain,
I feel tired, sluggish,
I don’t really want to go anywhere,
Perhaps during the weekend I’ve sat too much, ate too much junk, or didn’t hydrate enough.
Who knows?!
Whatever the case, I feel a lack of energy.
I need to get out of this slump.

Will I make it?

Thank you, Allan. I was able to get myself going and I feel better for it. Lots of energy now. I definitely look forward to spring. On some days it feels like it’s right around the corner.

It’s my respite. Although hubby is there, I can do my own thing that relieves my stress.

I find weights more uplifting at the start of the day than yoga, particularly if I’m a bit fed up.

Weights and vigorous exercise is definitely are a great way to start the day. I have a really nice group of yogis that meet together at the same time daily. We are each other’s encouragement. It works great. I do have to agree though, health and energy wise, weights are a great morning thing. Thank you for your comment. It’s lovely reading your thoughts.
