Feeling Under The Weather?

It’s that time of year where many of us come down with various illnesses. Colds and the flu affect many of us eventually.

Chicken Soup is not only good for the Soul but good for your body too.

My favorite food when dealing with cold and flu is homemade chicken soup. Scientific studies have found that homemade chicken soup (not canned, processed) is actually beneficial when fighting sickness.

When I was working at Home Instead… they didn’t like it when we would call out sick, even if it was the flu! It seemed like they encouraged us to work while sick. One would think, when working with seniors, who are more susceptible, that they wouldn’t want you working while sick.
    Ugg…glad I don’t work there anymore!

That’s absolutely terrible. I agree with you, you would think people would be more cautious with the elderly. Unconscionable. I’m glad you don’t work there anymore either. But I hope something will be done about it. I really appreciate your comment.
